Stenocereus thurberi, a.k.a. Organ Pipe Cactus. The Organ Pipe Cactus grows predominantly in the Sonoran Desert. A hardy cactus, though not fond of frost, the Organ Pipe has ribs that bear dark brown to black spines that turn gray as it matures. It produces small deep red flower buds whose white petals burst open and roll down to expose an array of stamen and anther dripping with pollen, ready to nourish the pollinators with that sweet golden goodness :)

You will receive the 6 inch Organ Pipe cactus shown in photos. Cactus will ship bare root, no pot or soil is included with this item.

Plants can be sensitive during shipping, so please consider the weather in your area before ordering. We offer heat or cold packs to aid in shipping. If you would like one, please add it to your order and we'll happily pack it along with your plants for shipping. There is no additional shipping charged for the heat/cold packs.

Some plants and cactus may have small flaws, imperfections, scars. These blemishes don't harm the plant and only add to their unique character! We do our best to capture these in our photos so you know exactly what you’re getting, but no person (or plant!) is perfect :)

As with all new plants you add to your collection, please take care to keep your new plant baby separated for a week or so and be on the lookout for any unwanted pests or infections. We do our best to ensure this is not an issue, but caution is always recommended.
